about
No Wonder Why is a special collaboration with Newfoundland folk trio The Once. Recorded at Echo Lake Studio in Halifax, NS. with producer Dan Ledwell. The beautiful setting of Dan's studio coupled with the fun we had hanging out while recording this song really shines through on the end result. One of the most meaningful recordings I have had the pleasure to work on.
lyrics
Hi,
There’s something in the air tonight,
And I’ve got you by my side,
I know I belong here.
Here with all of my friends.
One day ends, a new one begins,
On blow the northern winds.
And it’s no wonder why,
It’s no wonder why,
It’s no wonder why,
I am yours, and you are mine.
We sing! Our voices in unison,
It’s the water we’re wading in,
Where I end, and you begin.
And it’s no wonder why,
It’s no wonder why
It’s no wonder why,
I am yours, and you are mine.
It’s no wonder why
It’s no wonder why,
It’s no wonder why,
I am yours, and you are mine.
It’s no wonder why
It’s no wonder why,
It’s no wonder why,
I am yours, and you are mine
